Archibald Downie and Janet Gass
The Graitney parish register is in very poor condition, and Archibald's baptism entry is particularly hard to read:
February 15 1781Archibald was a labourer (probably an agricultural labourer) according to the death certificates of his son John and daughter Janet. He married Janet Gass in 1805:

We know little more about Archibald other than the fact that he died at Flowbank, Kirkpatrick Fleming on 20 October 1833, from the family gravestone in Kirkpatrick Fleming kirkyard. The only child whose baptism record has been found is Janet but there may have been other children since no birth record has been found for either of the other two known children (parentage established from their death certificates and the family gravestone).
Elizabeth Downie, who married David Richardson in Lochmaben in 1841, may have been another child of Archibald and Janet, but her death certificate in 1863 names her parents as John Downie and Janet Gass. This could simply have been because David, the informant on the death certificate, never knew his wife's father as he died eight years before the marriage. Certainly Elizabeth was born in Annan in about 1819 according to the 1851 Census.
